It's been a while since I visited the blog, and it all looks different! I really love the look of it though! Good work, whoever is responsible!
I have seven patient postcards waiting for me...when I signed up, I told Peta I may be stretched getting this first lot done - I have an exhibition opening on 19th June. So my plan is to have a really busy few postcard days after that! Great to see some photos trickling in - I will get to put some up - maybe not in the next few days though!
I have finished Peta's postcard - can't quite bring myself to mail it back yet - I really did have fun with it! I guess that rules out one in your sleuthing, Peta! And I need to photograph all the finished ones together...at least that's what I'm telling myself!
Nice to 'meet' Olley and Donna - I must try to visit more often to keep up with things!
Have fun everyone!
Tracey.

I hope at some point that we may all be able to come together to share our books and postcards with each other!
For those continuing with the postcards, I believe that Olley has already communicated with you about how you will be continuing with this great project.
For everyone, please if you can, complete the postcards you have in your possession, if this is not possible then simply return to the originating artist as is.
For those who have chosen to change to the Altered Book Collaboration I will send out a group email within the next week to outline the details.
Kym, I would like to thankyou for your wonderful efforts of setting up the blog and continuing to maintain it, it has been a valuable opportunity to share thoughts and art with others and to be able to connect with other collaborators across the country and the oceans - THANKS!!!
To Donna and Olley, a big thankyou to you both for so capably and gently encouraging your respective group members participation - THANKS!!!
Once again......THANKS!!! to all of YOU for your enthusiasm, participation and collaboration!!!

Hi Tracey, Nice to meet you too. Good luck with your upcoming exhibition. When you post some photos of you cards will you post some photos of some of you works from the exhibition so we can see what you do? Please? And Thank you! Happy Creating, Olley.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear from you Tracey.
ReplyDeleteVery interested in hearing more about your exhibition coming up. Might take a trip to Theodore to check it out. Have a great time with the exhibition.
How are the "Butterflies" going - I have your's here and I have my draft done. Hopefully I will be starting on them all over the weekend. Jenelle told me today that she sent her's to me but it got returned to her.....so Jenelle is coming for a cuppa & bringing Tim Tams........... I hope a few more get returned over the next few months - if it ends up that way. HEHEHE.
Having Fun with ART,
Kym :)
Thanks, Olga and Kim for your interest...The exhibition is actually in Goondiwindi, Kim...I am having fun with it, but also starting to feel the pinch as time slips away on me! I'm creating fabric and then making handbags, scarves, covered journals and cushions with it. Will post some photos when I get some postcards done & pics taken of them...As yet, I've only altered Peta's, which I really enjoyed, I'm waiting for inspiration for the rest, but that might come when I send all this other stuff off! The delivery of postcards with Tim Tams is a very appealing sounding scenario!
ReplyDeleteKeep having fun!
Tracey.
Hi Tracey, lovely to see some photos on the blog of your work on my postcard!!! It looks great, I'm looking forward to seeing it when it arrives in my letterbox!! I also would really love to see some photos of the works you are preparing for your Goondiwindi show...just wish it was closer so i could attend!
