And still more.......

The photos below are of Kristin's round two postcard - Theme "Music" I decided to 'extend' this one by making an envelope type postcard and placing another postcard on the inside!

One side of the 'inside' card. A scrap from the cover of an old music sheet.
The other side of the inside card, I used Kristin's line drawing of a guitar, painted it and partially covered it with another record album cover. I wrote some words from a Josh Pyke song over everything.

The back of Kristin's postcard. Note the record and record player arm.

Kristin's theme was "Music" - this is the address side of her postcard, I cut down a record cover and made it into an envelope, embelishing it with scraps from the cover of very old sheet music. The light?? 'Electric Guitar or Electric Music' A brad keeps the envelope closed.

  1. Wow Peta...I've been picking 'music' up and putting it down for weeks - having no idea - what a great job you've done! I'm so impressed! I love the old record cover idea, and the envelope...everything you've done, really! It's great to see how people develop these themes and the different ideas - thanks for posting so regularly! I have Lindesay's "Surprise" ready to photograph - not sure if the camera is up to the job. Number one son had a play with it and thinks it's better...we'll soon know I guess!

  3. Peta, the camera behaved a little better - as you will see - still far from ideal...I'm counting my savings from my art work and wondering if I'm liquid enough to invest in a SLR Digital....been thinking about it for a while now...maybe Fraser's (my sons) camera acting up a bit is the sign...

  5. Olley, you're doing pretty well if you are sending out round three this week.....sometimes I get a whole day in the studio and I often just go like a locomotive on full throttle...
